Funny thoughts during labor, or at the very least, extreme theo/anthro nerdiness...
During labor I contemplated...how much sense the connection between purity legislation regarding death is so similar to the legislation regarding birth; the fact that Mary gave birth in a stable, without an epidural or 2 people to hold up her legs for her while she pushed; and how much I love the Hail Mary.

I get it. Or think I do. For now tho' I am snuggling just short of 8 pounds of pure love.

I am so happy for you and Loni. Remember to take time for you and take a minute and write down all the cute, precious things he will do. You think you will never forget, but you do. And they are worth their weight in gold for blackmail! :D
Thanks K! He is now 8 pounds 4 ounces...good eating boy that he is! And, I am stealing a moment as both he and his Mommy are snoozing!
